Welcome to The Reformed Project, Ghana, a website aimed primarily at (re)proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ as proclaimed in the Protestant Reformation. Central in this proclamation are the Doctrines of Grace and the 5 solas of salvation:

  • Sola Scriptura—the Scriptures alone are the authority that can guide man to justification and sanctification
  • Sola Fide—justification is by faith alone without any works performed by man
  • Sola Gratia—man’s justification is effected by the grace of God alone …
  • Solo Christo—through Jesus Christ his eternally begotten Son alone …
  • Soli Deo Gloria—to the glory of God alone

This is a project intended to reach out to everyone in general and the people of Ghana in particular. Ghanaian Christianity is sadly degenerating into heresy, as witnessed in the teachings and practices of the mainstream protestant denominations—Methodists, Presbyterians, Baptists, and Anglicans. These denominations are expected to be Bible-based, but sadly, they have taken a very low view of the scriptures. One can say that the Bible is their secondary standard now or is just a token to it because their teachings and practices reflect a liberal approach to it.

This project therefore aims to exhort professing Christians to return to Biblical Christianity, and to help others to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The Reformation happened in the early 16th Century (about 1515). It was championed by Martin Luther who argued that man’s justification in the court of God is only by faith in Jesus Christ. This argument was against the heresy of the Roman Catholic Church which heresy was in their argument that man is justified by faith and good works. The Roman Catholic Church continues to teach this form of justification which undermines the free grace of God as the foundation of man’s salvation.

The Reformed Project rejects salvation by works and subscribes fully to the biblical the just shall live by faith alone in the promise, virgin birth, person, sinless life, sacrificial and atoning work, bodily resurrection, ascension, and heavenly glorification of Jesus Christ, the eternally begotten Son of God.

To live by faith is far better than by feelings, experience, sight, and works.

It is our hope that you’ll travel through our site to be edified in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
